Background

Firstly, some background on me.  

I’ve been in online marketing since 2010, mostly in affiliate marketing, but more recently in products and services.   I am now a successful full time marketer.

Before that I was in the IT industry as a systems engineer consultant to various major organisations.   I also devised and conducted training courses, so I am well experienced with teaching people.

As I had to interact with range of people from customers, technical engineers and senior management, I was always concious to ensure that I communicated at the appropriate technical level of the audience.  I’ve seen too many good technical people baffle and confuse clients with lots of jargon and concepts that go right over the head of people.   I always aim to explain concepts in an easy to understand way that is appropriate for your level of experience.

 

Coaching Topics

Here’s a range of topics that we can cover in the coaching sessions.  This list is not exhaustive, but it will give you an idea of the types of areas that we can cover.

 

The Basics

If you are starting out for the first time, it can seem very daunting as there are so many new things to learn.   Basic things like registering a domain name and setting up a website can be an uphill battle.

And then there’s all the other elements of online marketing such as affiliate programs, product selection, keyword research, list building etc.

I can coach you through each of the essential steps to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

 

SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) covers huge variety of areas, but can be broadly broken into two main parts:

 1.  On-page SEO.  Optimizing all the on-page elements of your site, eg:  titles, keyword density, internal linking etc.

2.  Off-page SEO.  This includes building backlinks using a whole host of methods such as article directories, blog networks,  comments, forums, videos etc.

SEO is the bread and butter of any Internet Marketer and the best way to get free traffic to your site.  

I can assist you with analysing your existing SEO methods and give you proven methods I use to improve my website rankings.

 

 

Keyword Research

Keyword Research is the foundation of any online marketing venture.   If you get your keyword research wrong, then you could be wasting a lot of time and money.

I use a variety of keyword research tools (ranging from free to paid) and methods.   I can help you with keyword research for a specific project you are working on, or help you understanding the elements of good keyword research.

 

 

Technical Assistance

As I have been in the IT industry most of my life, I have a very good technical background.

I can assist you with pretty much any technical element you may have, such as:

1. How to register and set up your domains
2. Setting up your website
3. WordPress customization
4. Setting up and integrating mailing lists
5. Migrating sites to a new server
6. Creating sales page, squeeze pages etc

 

How It Works

Keep in mind that a lot of other coaching programs are just pre-recorded material with virtually no personal interaction with the actual coach.

My coaching packaging are all 100% one-on-one coaching that are totally dedicated to your requirements.

My preferred communication method is via Skype as that encompasses instant messaging, voice/video calls and screen sharing.   I find this to be the most effective and most productive method for coaching.

You will be sent an initial questionnaire regarding your training requirements and expectations (this is not counted against your paid session/s)

Coaching packages are purchased in hourly blocks.  It is entirely up to you as to how you want to use this time.  You can use up the whole hour (or more) in one session, or spread it out over multiple sessions.

I aim to be as flexible as possible with my availability.   I can cater for pretty much any time zone you may be in, but do keep in mind that I have to sleep sometimes
